Delivered to Superfast Ferries as the last of six ferries ordered to HDW yards, was taken over in March. Ordered for the GermanySweden service, was instead put on the new link ZeebruggeRosyth, the first service which links directly Scotland and Europe. This link is very useful, as it permits to the travellers to avoid driving to Hull or Newcastle, the hystoric ports of Benelux – United Kingdom service. Although tourists seem to prefer Siperfast to P&O anf their fabulous ferries “Pride of Rotterdam” and “Pride of Hull”; another time the freight traffic is faithful to English ports, and often we hear some rumours about Superfast’s unsatisfaction of commercial figures; consequently is also often hypothized of a new deployment of this pair of sisters, one of these also on Venice – Greece line which was abandoned in 2003 by Blue Star Ferries. On January 2004 the ferry was refitted at Fosen yard, where some reclining seats were added and the passenger capacity rose from 626 to 717.
