Third member of Marlines family, joined the three-colour fleet in 1986. Previously owned by Brittany Ferries, ehich collected her in 1974 from the French yards “La Rochelle” was deployed on the lines Plymouth (GBR) – Roscoff (FRA) then Plymouth – St. Malo (FRA); was then sold to SverigeNorge Linjen for the LangesundStromstad link. In 1985, after her purchase, was considerably refitted with the addiction of a big superstructure at stern, increasing the passenger capacity, which raised to 864 with 410 beds; on the top deck also a small pool was added. The GRT rose to 6.399 tons from 3.495. Deployed on AnconaIgoumenitsaPatras line, was joined the following year by the “Countess M” which, although older, was far interesting and luxurious after her refit; probably for this reason in 1989 Marlines decided to sold her to the Italian company Rodriquez Alimar. For the Italian company was employed on strange long routes between Leghorn, Barcelona and other ports as Tunis, Naples or Eolie islands; resold in 1995 to Spatalisano, was pioneer on various unsuccesfull services; after the 1995 summer between Bari and Cesme was moved to a strange TarantoIgoumnitsa link, then between Malta and Tunis, prior to be arrested on August 1996. In 1998 was sold to the Arabian company Naif Marine Services for the line between United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Iraq, joined in 2001 bu the former ANEK ferries “Candia” and “Rethimnon”. Was scrapped in 2004 being only 30 years old.
