Launched as “Shinko Maru” in 1989, was sold to Taiwanese King Fung eleven years after, in 2000. Strintzis family bought this ship in 2003 as the first ferry of the re-established ferry operations with Strintzis name. It seems that the ship came from Taiwan in very poor condition, but was reconverted at Perama in a excellent way and started sailing on summer 2003 from Killini to Cephalonia, the home-island of Strintzis family which always have provided a  ferry connection to the biggest of Ionian islands. From November 2004 to the beginning of 2005 was on the PatrasSamiIthaki line; then, after having been refitted was put again on Killini line.
