Ship with Baltic origins,
was on a link between Sweden and Aland Islands for
one of the three original Viking Line partners, the Rederi
AB Slite, which was the branch who went in bankruptcy
in 1993 making the Scandinavian company lose the superb “Olympia”, “Athena”, “Kalypso” and the already finished “Europa”
which was never collected from Meyer Werft of Papensburg. After four years of service in the Baltic was
sold in Canada, as the “Manic” and crossed again the Atlantic ocean ten years
later when was bought by Strintzis Lines as their “Ainos”. After a short spell sailing from Rafina to Cyclades, was deployed
on Killini –
