The “Egitto Express” was the only recent Adriatica Ship having the hull painted in white instead of the
traditional sand colour look. She was a full sister of “Espresso Grecia” when
delivered by the Leghorn Yard “Luigi Orlando”; taken over by Adriatica in 1976, was renamed “Espresso Egitto”; originally built as “Espresso Cagliari” for Trans Tirreno Express for Leghorn – Olbia line. Her conversion to
the actual appearance was carried in 1991 at INMA yards of
TRANS TIRRENO EXPRESS – Espresso Cagliari (1974-1976)
