Last of four sisters built by Orlando
yards and one of the only six passenger-ferries built by this yard, was ordered
by Adriatica and delivered in 1978, even if her first
year of service for the company was only twelve years after, being chartered
for 12 years to the parent company Tirrenia. For Adriatica was employed almost everywhere, particularly on Ancona lines with the Sansovino.
Her Adriatica life came to an end in 2003, being sold
after another disruption of service stated by the Venice board; the ferry was
bought by Halkydon Shipping and put on Agemar service Trieste Durres. On 2005 Adria Ferries chartered her to replace the Riviera del Conero for Ancona Durres line,
which was also marketed by Agemar as its own service.
The charter ends with the deployment of Riviera Adriatica
and the ferry was back to Agemar classic services.
