Ferries arriva in Grecia nel 1993, dove prende il posto della nave omonima
acquistata l’anno precedente. Inizialmente problemi burocratici la costringono
a servire sulle linee internazionali, ove si dimostra piuttosto inadeguata,
essendo nave progettata per linee brevissime (Dover – Calais) e venendo
impiegata su linee lunghissime (Ancona – Corfu – Igoumenitsa – Patrasso). Si riscatterà successivamente,
operando in lungo e largo per l’Egeo, con discreto successo, fino al

G.A. Ferries arrived in Greece in 1993, where replaced a ship with the same name.
Intended to be used on Domestic traffic, was forced to be deployed on Italy –
Greece lines because of some paper problems which didn’t allowed her to sail
under Greek flag. Fairly unsuccessful on Ancona –
Corfu – Igoumenitsa – Patras,
a long line which is unsuitable for a day-ferry like this one, was very
popular on Aegean waters, where she served almost every corner and every
island, until the bankruptcy of the company in 2009. Aegean Sea, June 28th,
