Negli anni ’80 e ’90 Strintzis Lines si concentrava sui collegamenti Italia – Grecia, rimanendo quasi del tutto assente dalle linee interne, se non per i collegamenti da Rafina e per Cefalonia – Itaca. La IONIAN SEA qua ritratta a Pireo, il 02/09/1994, venne inizialmente acquistata per questo scopo, ma nel 1994 serv์ il collegamento da Pireo a Kos e Rodi, passando anche da Syros, Paros, Kalymnos, Nissiros e Tilos. Esperienza brevissima.

During the 80’s and the 90’s Strintzis Lines was mainly involved in Italy – Greece traffic, leaving to others the Greek domestic lines, except for some services out of Rafina and from Peloponnese to Cephalonia and Ithaki. The IONIAN SEA, here in Piraeus on September 2nd, 1994, was bought to serve international lines, but in 1994 was sailing out of Piraeus to Kos and Rhodes, calling also at Syros, Paros, Kalymnos, Nissiros and Tilos. A very brief spell of her career.
